For proper installation, particular attention must be paid to the correct pilot hole diameter: a hole that is too small does not necessarily provide better holding strength and may compromise the fastening performance. Drilling tables provide general guidelines only; fastening performance must always be verified according to the specific technical and mechanical conditions of the application.
These screws are primarily intended for sheet metal applications and are not particularly suitable for die-cast materials or certain technical plastics.
